Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a quiet adventure game that trusts you to explore. You tap to move, tap to examine, and slowly piece together why the lighthouse was abandoned. There's no combat and barely any text — the story lives in the rooms themselves.

The puzzles are environmental and fair. I only got stuck once, and when I found the answer I felt clever rather than cheated. The hand-painted backgrounds are gorgeous, especially on an OLED screen in a dark room.

It's short, maybe three hours, and I mean that as praise. It says what it wants to say and then ends. I thought about the last scene for days.
