About
Ridge Fox Play started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other screenshots of weird little games nobody else was talking about. At some point the chat got too long, so we built a site. That's basically the whole origin story.,We only write about things we've actually installed and played for a few evenings. No press-release rewrites, no breathless hype. If a game drags after ten minutes, we'll tell you, and if a tiny studio pulled off something clever, we'll say that too.,Our picks lean indie on purpose. The big polished franchises already have armies of coverage. We care more about the solo developer who spent two years on a hand-drawn adventure, or the three-person team shipping a strategy game that respects your time.,Everything here is written by people, read by people, and argued about way too much before it goes live. That's the point.
